should i just take out the thermostat? or do i have to have one in. i know in jap/american cars, it's ok to just completely remove them if they r over heating. just worried about the german heritage of having every light on the dash (check thermostat mofo!!!)jk

I'm not sure if you can but it'll take your engine alot longer to reach proper operating temps. As well, won't that mess up the way your aux fans turn on and off to cool the rad? Won;t it mess witht he temp sensors and cold start cycle?

Why do you want to remove it anyways?

HELL NO! there are to many sensors that rely on the coolant temp that also send signals to the cars ecu.
