i need one b/c of check engine light plus u get other benefits
but will it work on 95 C36? is my car OBD2. someone mention that all benzos from 94 are OBD2. can anyone confirm?
please let me know all the experience u had with AUTERRA

once i had used one of these but it was simple,you just plug it in the lighter and play,it was accurate and fun but what for?

i need to have OBD2 codes read to me.
i dont wanna pay mechanic 100$ for that
i wonder how much dealer charges for that service.
is it worth it?

all i can say it there not the same as the dealer, is there any opertunity to performance tune with these or are they just for modifiying factory settings

OBD2 was only made on cars from 1996 and above. OBD1 is what is on all cars before that, and for several decades. I have a 95 c220 and really wanted to have a tool such as this, but was unable because of the year diffrence.

i've been using Auterra for about a year now
thank goodness don't have to use it often at all, but i do because i like keeping track of stats, and lots of other features, i use it with a Clie and it's in my car at all times just in case.

I have the Nology version which is the same. I use it all the time to check my engine conditions after I make sometuning changes.
I also use it to run dyno runs and get pretty repeatable results, provided the input data is correct.
It is a great tool.

Sorry, but there is nothing under my steering wheel.
Usualy, the shop where I take my car, they connect there computer to a round plug under the hood close to the pasanger side of the windshiled.
My 280 has euro specs..

odbII is US/canada only if i can remember correctly :(
