My exhaust is leaking behind the resonator towards the rear of the car. I then had to call Ken(CKLASSE) and Conrad of BMS performance to custom build a new exhaust for me.Could the exhaust leak at the bac of the resonator cause the CEL to light up?

I dont think that would be the cause.. Ive never seen a broken exhaust at the resonator set off a cel light. just makes it really loud!!
possibly something else.. but ya never know with our cars!!

You'll have to pull the codes and find out.

OBDII scan tool available at AZ. The port should be under your steering wheel. They will pull the codes for free. I wouldn't go to MB dealer. Unless you like wasting your money.

No...you are right. Auto Zone. Call around, I'm sure a few different parts places pull codes.

On the OBDII scan tool there is a reset button that will clear the code. But the CEL will come back if problem is not fixed. I would pull the code(s), then clear the CEL, then address the problem. If it comes on again, before you fix the problem, then clear it again once it's fixed.
