Aside from Bekkers, ForMyMercedes, PerformanceProducts
and JKMotoring where else can I buy a grille (or grille insert) for a W202.
Thanks

You could always look on Ebay. Just don't buy anything under
$40 unless it's from a private party. My grill is a Schatz. I paid
like $105 but it's perfect. Performance Products is way over priced
if you ask me. You should be able to get a decent grill on Ebay
for about $70.

From the dealer.
Don't cheapo on this part cause the fitment and quality on the cheaper version are exactly that...cheap.

Tinter,
Schatz is what I'm looking for!
Where did you get yours?
I don't really trust the quality on those sold in Ebay that's why I
didn't even mention it.
thanks.

no matter where you buy it , they are all the same...except from the ones from the dealer....well i wouldn't know because im not going to pay 300+ from the dealer....but i suppose it would be better....the ones you buy aftermarket are plastic.....i havent seen any differences in the aftermarket ones to this point....not sure about the dealers...anyone know?

I had a OEM one on my C36. it had a w210 part number. when you would close the hood no rattle and perfect fitment. Also all ebay grilles are the same, they all come from the same guy, then ebay seller buy them from him to sell to you. ALSO NEVER buy from AUTORICE becuz he sucks! If u want bad service, bad parts, and basic shit buy from autorice..

Tom Hansen of Caliber Motors. It's a dealership down in L.A. He'll give you the wholsale price. However you need a part number... ;)

I've got connects at Caliber...anyone know the part number?
So which is the best place to buy the Avant Grille for a w202? I'm getting ready to buy one for my C220, and I might get it from Performance Products because I've purchased their Sport Grille before for my C230k Sport and I trust their quality, despite price...

Best place is OEM from the dealership. Since you have contacts for Caliber, why not buy it there?

My Schatz grille was one of the first things that I
did to my car so I can't remember where I got it. I do
know that I paid about 40% less than Performance Products
sold it for (exact same one). I'll look for my reciept and get back to you.

No need Tinter. I know what they go for
at performance products. I'll figure it out from here.

I bought a W210 grille already. Can anyone with the OEM W202 avantgarde grille take a photo of it (front and back) and post it here so that I know exactly where to cut my W210 grille?
I believe the OEM W202 avantgarde grille is made by cutting a W210 grille by MB. Thanks.

so what is the part number for the grill from the W210?
also what W210 year does it have to be?
can someone post pics of where to cut things off
thanks

How much is a OEM W210 compared to the precut OEM one? Can't be much of a difference. I don;t remember how much mine was, 400 something it hink.

The W210 grille's part number is:
A 210 888 0123
Got it for about CAD$100. Yes, the same grille, precut by OEM, is around CAD$450. So, I think cutting it yourself is worth it.
Now, can anyone please post a picture of the front and back of the OEM W202 avantgarde grille so that I'll know where to cut my W210 grille? Thanks.

Has anyone located source for a aftermarket W202 grill that has NOT been cut down, in other words, a grilll made specifically for the W202?
Don't know about you guys, but I had some bad experiences with the cut down grill for my W201 and would prefer one that has not been cut
