Shock Upgrade To Penske 8100 With Remote Compression Canister

Below is the new Penske 8100 shocks with remote canister compression adjusters. So now I have separate compression and rebound damping adjustments. The setup works very, very well.

so Jeff...looks like you strapped the remote res right up against the shock body. I'm assuming that it's completely out of the way there and still easy to reach?

Yes, with the canisters in those locations they are out of the way and still allow adjustments.

They work really goooood. I am running some very stiff springs and the car feels really good, firm but no jarring hits over big bumps. I have spent quite a bit of time with Penske trying different valving setups to find one that works great for both a street and track setup.

Cost is dependant on the type of valving and other item, but expect to pay about $700 a shock. It's good to have kept my old Superbike race connections:)

I am really jealous. Trying to work with KW to get the same for my cl203. Nobody makes anything for me, need to be a custom race suspension.
