Has anyone tried the wheel wax? Do they really shine the silver wheels finish?

my friend who helped me clean my car urges me to buy some
he says it's also good for helping the dust to not stick on the wheels

Your wheel is most likely has clearcoat on it.
I used synthetic wax/polish on my wheel. It still has a lot of brake dust but waxing makes the wheel cleaning much easier.
I do not use this one but seems to be something that you can use.

Yes...I just used mother wheel polish, it's a good product but I can't tell if my wheels are shinier.
