tire size advice..

hello all...need your expertise again...i am currently running 255/35-18's in the rear with 18x9.5's.....i'm getting a little rubbing on the small plastic moulding right below the rear door...if i go 245/40-18's, will the rubbing get worse or will it go away...its not as wide, 255 (10.03" wide);245(9.64"wide)so about half an inch narrower(.25" on each side), but a the overall diameter is about .3" taller(.15"more on top and bottom)..

correct me if i'm wrong...

just trim the plastic piece and you are ready to go ;)

yep just shave a it off, way worth it.

might wanna try different tire as well (rounder sidewall)
