Well considering the front and the rear are different size, if i wanted to lower both the front and the rear the same amount, should i still cut both of them by the same amount, sour should it vary?

NO....cut the front springs more then the rear. I believe they have a .25" difference (I think the front ones are bigger, it might be the rear ones, but I know for sure they are different). If you were to cut, it's about one coil different.

WEll if he wants more of a drop he SHOULD do it.
I had cut springs on my C36, it was slammed.
and for a little bit i was running cut eibachs on the c43.
ride isnt that harsh.

I cut mine too & the ride & the look is awesome, not bumpy at all.

so i cut half a coil in front and to get the same drop from the back i cut 1/4th of a coil?

l cut my front springs one coil and use #2 pad, rears l left alone with #1 pad. btw l'm using h&r springs. hope this helps.

what kind of drop do you have...any pics...right now im taking out my rear springs to cut them...probbly gonna cut them half coil too
