Factory Alarm Question

Hello everyone, Im going to take out my stock radio, and I was wondering what would happen to the factoy alarm. On the factory radio there is a little circle where it blinks red. Would the factory alarm still be enabled when I replace it with my new headunit.

my understanding is that that is just part of the the radio my car dose not have an alarm but there still is a blinking light on my radio. all it just a blinking light on the radio, the cars that have an alarm have a simmilar blinking light on the switch that locks and unlocks the car from inside

I've just made an interesting discovery.... I have alpine unit, and decided to see what my benz key does. I rolled down the window (to simulate if it was broken), closed the car, clicked the lock button....

now the interesting part. I pulled the door pin open and opened the door... :hmmm: and the car opened the rest of the pins!!!!! :confused:

No sound what so ever, no blinking nothing, nada!!! :shock:

So I guess tomorrow I'm getting an alarm! :D

I have a mercedes benz authorized alarm from europe i would like to sell, ods are if you take it some where they will fu#K up your car and wireing I learnt that about the idiot who installed my cd changer after some hard work and $$$ I got it back to factory finally plus I will sell this alarm for about half what anyone is going to charge you to put one in thats not like original mercedes equiptment this works off your factory infred key
