Was on my way to work yesterday and noticed some liquid on the garage floor as i backed my car out. Odd, as it didn't look like oil or coolant. It had a very slight yellow tint. But when I dapbbed white paper over it, it was almost clear really.

Had no odor.

Consistency was like water.

Seemed to be dripping profusely from the front area of the engine.

It was dripping from where the oil drain-plug was, but I finally saw it was trickling from much higher.

Car seemed to be running fine so i drove her to the mechanic. Hoisted her up and we saw it seemd to be coming from the water pump.

So I dropped the car off and will be $700 poorer when it's done.

I hope it only happens only after 100K?!

Anyone else have a water pump issue? Do they fail that abruptly?

I think mine is going but not sure.

I hear gushing of water sounds in my vents. My rad overflow container looked like it backed up and coolant is leaking through the cap and the car makes a loud whirring sound, progressive as i step on the gas.
