Dunno what happened but that pot hole came out of nowhere I tell ya. So instead of trying to get the wheel fixed and having to repowdercoat two of them I decided to order up a set of wheels as replacement.

Instead of getting another set of 18 or even step up to very cool 19 I went with lightweight 17. Yep 8x17 up front and 9x17 out back. Each coming in at a nice 16lbs each :)

They will be custom fitted for the car since 5zigen doesnt make one for the 5x112 pattern. Should be here in a few weeks. Big ups to TWS for the hook up!!!

Oh yeah its the FN01R-C in... Bronze no less :p

Yes, not the typical MB wheel but I've never liked the typical MB wheel anyways. Or maybe I just dream of a sileighty way too much :P

I was also looking at enkei wheels too, man we got like the same brain when it comes to wheels for the w202. hopefully soon i'll be able to buy another set of wheels. I can't wait to see your wheels at AF2, it'll look so phat.

Not to completely bite your style but I was going to try to get the Enkei RP-F1 imported but that came to the tune of 2500+ per set, and that is just too damn expensive, and too damn hard to come by for racing wheels....

Could you hook me up with the people who got these for you so I can get an ideantical set?

You should try to get 17x9" for the front and rear. The front fender will need a little mod but it will fit.

I am ble to run a 255/40/17 Kuhmo Victoracer on the front of my C43 using an 8.5" wide wheel. Plus I just put 275/40/17 Kumho Victoracers on the rear. These are some wide tires. The fronts pt down 250mm to the road and the rears put down 270mm.

Some of the Pirelli's I measured only put down 208mm for a 235/40/17 tire.

The Wheel Supply is the hookup They do great redilling and making special hubcentric spacers.

Jeff,

275 out back will work. Holly crap! Maybe my 255 was on the thin side then....

I'll give a buzz tomorrow about that.

I know when I was running 235 in front with 18 it rubbed. When you had something other than 255 in front did it rub?

oh wait nm. I know why I went 255 out back.something called money.

Nokia - I was thinking the same thing....I really wanted to go a bigger size out back in my car, but I was worried about the price difference. I found out that it was actually cheaper for the two rear tires to go bigger size then the normal size. The front ones are a different story since they are special order. Check all over the internet....I went to:
www.tirerack.com
www.tires.com
www.discounttires.com

Good luck man, and I am sure whatever you put on there will look killer!!!

Damn, 17x9... I was going to do it for the street but I have been running the 235/40/17 Toyo RA-1s, and I am yet to find their limits.

Enkei JP has both 17x8 and 17x 9 listed for the RP-F1, but getting them imported would be so costly... Nokia, email me please! :)

please let me know what sizes you can get too... I would love to get those wheels.

Update:

Wheels dont fit... well they do sorta. The center portion of the rotors wont allow the center cap to fit. I know I could say f the center cap but still it is my hard earn'd money so it would be nice if it was complete.

Also, nukblazi, he cant get the enkei as well. So onward bound for a search or get that 10D with battery grip i suppose :p
