For your information it's available a new product (in USA available from next september but here in Europe is already ready).

It's the external version of already existing Koni Yellow (Sport here in Europe) series for W202. P.No are:8041-1315 (front) and 8041-1316 (rear).

Hoping this may be a good information for you guys.

I'm waiting for the final price but it seems that respect the standard Koni Yellow (26-1575 and 26-1576) the requested extra price is quite a lot (ab.450Euro vs. "may be" 650Euro).
I'm wondering if the extra price will really a good effort. What do you think about?

I've to change also the spring but I'm confused ab. H&R or Eibach pro kit. Seems that H&R are lower (40 mm) and less confortable but the lowering value is sure what they propose, respect Eibach value of 30 mm that seems not really sure: 40 mm is a lot but less than 30 mm is too less.

Please what do you suggest.:)

That's the only thing I HATE about my shocks, the non adjustable design.

But since I'm i quebec I swap shocks every winter so I can adjust them once a year;)

Why do you swap? And with what?
Do you have Koni Yellow?

How they are?

Thanks

I swap back stock suspension for the winter (because of snow and cold and salt and so on). I will also remove body kit when I'll have one and every other piece thatc ould get damaged.

I got yellows, I love them.

Also, I have eibach pro and I love the drop. I bought them used but I've heard they sag after some time (your car gets lower).

Thanks Etienne.

So you change a lot of time the ride of your W202, passing from stock to stiff ride and viceversa.

How different is the ride?

thanks again

well I bought my car this spring, so did not swap back yet. But the ride is stiffer with the springs/shocks.

I remember it every time they loan me a brand new W203 each time my car is in for service. But the ride is not that harsh compared to many civics or japanese dropped rides I went into.

OK.
I've to decide if the effort for the new Koni Yellow is available for me.

Still a bit confused to Eibach or H&R.

Thanks a lot for your information

Marco;)
