Questions About Head Unit

Just bought a 1997 c230....I am in between putting in a 6-disc in the trunk..or installing a new head unit....Any input??

What do you want to know?

I installed a 6 disc Alpine in mine 4 years ago and haven't had
any problem since.

I was just in your situation a few weeks ago - got my C230 w/o a cd player in it. I would've loved to have kept the stereo factory and had an MB disc changer put in - but at $800 that was pretty much outta the question.

I went with a pioneer in-dash cd player, and if I want I can add a changer later.

I have the opportunity to buy a 6-disc changer by a company called USA Spec...which claims to be an OEM style changer...however it is 279.99 plus tax. I dont know if it is worth it or am i just better off buying a new head unit....also how is the fitment in the dash if any of you have installed an aftermarket head unit
