weak horn

My horn is sounding very weak and sickly lately.

1. where is it located

2. what can I do

1. If im not mistaken.. they are located behind the front bumper.. the toe hook cover that is in the front bumper.. if you open that up to gain access and put ur hand in you should be able to feel it.. one on each side (where the hook cover panels are) to gain better access you can remove the under panels that are closest to the wheel wells (on each side of the engine under panel).

2. You cant do much but replace them both or just the weak one...up to you.

what a difference, I can actually hear them and I bet the folks outside here them to. easy job, I removed the bottom covers as suggested, All you need is a screw and a few socket wrenches, if you go to Hella you do not need to use the relay that comes with the kit, if you have dual horns the relay is in place already. just unbolt and unplug the old and bolt on the new and reconnect. You might want to disconnect the battery, if you don't have insulated tools, as you could short out something. Good Luck
