sometimes when i drive now, when i gas the car it seems to be stuck in a neutral gear. This happens sometimes when i stop. I then have to slowly let the car move a little and gas alittle to get it to go. anyone experience this before? thanks

i dont know if this will help but i just had my shifter bushings replaced and the dealer said that if i didnt replace them that my car would have a really hard time getting in and out of gear so that may be your problem hope this helps

Its probably your tranny. Get it checked out. Whens the last time you serviced your tranny? Your filter is probably clogged. Or your tranny fluid just dirty. Dont mean to scare you,but C36 tranny tend to fail and burn..

I had similar problems which in my case ended up being a failed clutch pack in the tranny. Basically it meant a tranny re-build.

Either way, don't let it get worse. Fix it asap :(

check the fluid. might be too low. or change it from a tranny place (mr transmission or someone). most likely, your clutch packs are goin out. might need a new or rebuild the tranny.

I had the exact same problem in my car..

I had to change the MAF ..

First my mechanic wanted to take the tranny down and verify some crap in ther along with a tranny oil change..but he decided to test the MAF with one from a ML.. Once he change it the car stopped halting and doing some wierd shift changes like yours, when you stop.

Like Adelaros said, check the MAF first. I have heard about it several times.

Hope it helps!!!,
