I went to my local Ultimate Electronics store and was talking to a guy there about installing monitors in the backs of my headrests. I can get two 6.5 inch ones for about $100/month, and am seriously considering this.
However, do you people think they would look okay in a C-class? Or is the back two small? Would it even be worth it? I need some honest opinions here!
Thanks guys!

You say $100/month - and ask if it's worth it. My question is - how many months?
If it's 1 or 2 months - sure, why not? If it's 6 months - forget it. And I'm assuming you're referring to their financing plan - they'll probably make a killing on high interest. Personally speaking, I wouldn't mod my car through financing means, but to each his own.
About the monitors themselves - ask yourself what the purpose of installing headrest monitors for your particular situation is. Is it strictly a show car and you need the additional "flossing" factor? Or do you have young kids that ride in the backseat a lot and due to their Attention Deficiency Syndrome they need to be occupied at all times?
Check out the brand SAVV - they sell the actual headrests with their monitors in them already.

Does anyone have hookups for SAVV headrest monitors? I am looking for a pair of 7"... Best price I have seen is $900 for a pair on the internet and $1000 a pair from a local SAVV dealer. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for the ones that are built in to the headrest. I already have 5 inch screens cut into the existing stock headrests, so there's no way I'll be able to reuse them. I want to upgrade to 7 inch screens. Is Ultimate a SAVV dealer?
MDS, I have not heard good things about savinglots.com. They do not have very good feedback. Plus, they will only give you a 30 day warrantee whereas SAVV dealers will give you a 1 yr no questions asked warrantee.

Personally I really can't see how somebody can even consider rear headrest monitors when one is not able to pay for it at the spot...especially not for such a useless modification.
With that said...I must admit that I have 2 SAVV headrests with 7 inch screens in my 202 as well...:o eventhough these never ever get used...

OK, so I've been calling just about every SAVV dealer here on the east coast to find the best price. I just got a quote of $799 for a pair of 7" screens with headrests. This is alot better than the $1100 quotes I've been getting. It's is an all in price with tax and shipping and it also comes with "covers" for the headrests. This is direct from a dealer, so it comes with a 1 yr warrantee. From what this dealer told me, SAVV had a special on all MB headrests with monitors that ended in June, but he was still willing to give me the special price. This was the only dealer I got this info from. If anyone needs the dealer name, give me a holla.

What is the bigest you can go on the headrest?? I would really love to have the SAVV headrest but I have a pair of 7" TV's sitting in the garage and want to use those. Do you guys think they would fit? Thanks.

A 7" tft can be fitted in a W202 headrest, but if the frame (housing) of the screen is too large, it won't do it....

I dont have a better pic on me right now I installed 5" audiovox LCD, with the wireless headphone kit in my headrests. DIY job, they work great! and they fit in the odd moulding of the inside of the headrest. flush mounted, I would like bigger TV's but I didnt want that bulk look to them like there too big for the headrest.

I never finished the project because I am still not sure about it everyone that I talk to like it and me I have mixed thoughts about the whole thing. I have original seats to replace it if I just want to abandon the project. It takes much away from the Originality
