A/C Electrical Issue

Simple question:

Would a bad engine wiring harness cause air conditioning malfunctions? Is the air conditioning even connected to the wiring harness?

Does anyone know anything about A/C electrical issues? Guess it's a real specialty.:(

Just talking to myself again...pay it no mind.

Just talked to the dealer. Shop foreman states that the main engine wiring harness is, indeed, connected to the A/C system and a bad harness could affect the operation of the A/C system. Let's hope my bad wiring harness is the culprit.
