the black plastic that sits on the alternator..im trying to reach the voltage regulator...i took all the screws out and the electrical connections, but the black plastic is still not moving anywhere, it has these black things that click in and out on the sides (3 of them) and still its not moving anywhere, am i missing anything?

mine looks similar to this one..just for reference!

nevermind, why is it that when ever i ask something here, five minutes later i figure it out...but it would help if you guyz told me how long the brushes on the voltage regulator are supose to be..thanks

hey guyz, i just replaced the part, the car is working the way it should now, but i still have the ABS and the BATTERY light on. I drove the car for about 15mi, do i still need to wait longer till the battery fully recharges and the lights go off.....

Elvir,

Once the voltage is interrupted at least on the new models you need to turn the steering wheel from stop to stop to activate steering angle sensor. This should turn off the ABS lights.
