got my euro radio

I got my european indash cd today i temporarly installed it but the previous owner has a sony trunk changer installed in the process they cut the antenna wire, is there any junction or do i have to replace the entire part from front of the car to the back.
also when listing to the radio do you here an hiss at low volume I think it might be atributed to the antenna.
Also if i provide the model number can anyone get me a manual its pretty complicated and i would like to know all the cool features.

the hiss is not because of the antena but because of the deck/receiver, as i remember awhile ago, won't pickup US frequency...

it picks up the channels perfectly, maybe my ear is to decerning

got my new antenna cable today, $40 i was expecting more. it was a tricky installation since the original one was taped in a few places, but it reinstalled my new one just like factory, it took a littel while but now my car is back to its orgianal mercedes glory no cheap sony trunk changers. sounds great other than a low level hiss i might get something aftermarket to eliminate that.
