Hey Guys,
First let me say that I've been lurking around here for some time, and this is my first post. Everyone here seems to be very informed when it comes to the W202's. I look forward to being an active participant in discussions on this board.

I own a 98 C230, bought it used in April with around 49,000 miles. It came with the OEM tape deck (which was missing a button...drove me crazy). So the first thing I wanted to do was replace the tape deck with an OEM MB in dash CD player. After some searching, I found a couple I liked, but most were pretty expensive (300+ for an audio 10). Then I found one on E-bay with a pretty low starting bid. I bid on it, and low and behold, I won it. Got it in the mail, and noticed it was pretty unique.

The model is a Becker 4705, also called and Audio 30 APS in Europe. It has navigational capabilites, as well as being a wonderful in-dash CD unit. My question is, does anybody out there have and additional info on this unit? As far as I can figure out, there was never any nav. CD's made for North America, as this unit was never meant to be in NA cars. Any chance of another nav. CD being compatible? Possibly the Harmon-Kardon Traffic Pro?

I made a couple posts on the Becker boards, but no luck...all the info I was able to scrounge up I had to translate from Russian websites. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with what the deck can do, I just wanted to see if there was any way to get the nav. capabilites to work in the US.

Did the SLK320/32 ever come with Navigation
If so, try getting the disc(s) for that unit, might work ;)

There are no nav discs for the APS30s avalable in/for the US (looked into that more then a year ago and couldn't find anything)...
