well, its simple instead of wasting money on replica parts. Heres how to get clear bosch corners. First you will need to get alcohol and some sand paper, and start rubbing away the yellow paint. Thats what i did, and its simple and fun at the same time. If you dont want to stratch your clear corners, use a towel. And it works.

wait so the amber paint is directly on the back of the corner light?

i thought the reflector was encased within the light itself and in order to access it, you would need to heat the corner light to loosen up the silicone seal and then pry it apart to take out the reflector...

so youre saying by doing that you will fade out the amber color, cause i saw some old corners on a mercedes with faded amber corners looked terrible...

They are not clear.

Not all year W202's have the same kind of corners. My 1997 is not paint but atucally part of the lense.

I would like to see some pics, but my 2 cents I would just buy replica ones and spend 40 bucks.

The quality difference between the replica and Bosche OEM ones are very wide.

I've have both and the Bosche OEM ones are much much much better.

mines a 94 c280, so i really dont know about higher models if it would work or not. If you don't want to risk it than don't and buy replicas.
