Hey guys...first post...hopefully you guys will be able to help. I have a 1998 c230 non bose. I added a clarion cd player and now I am in the market for speakers. The front doors...with minor modification can hold 6.5 inch the rear door seem to be 4 inch and the rear deck doesnt matter cuz I am going to take them out and just add a 12 inch sub. My main question is...can bigger speakers be installed in the 4 inch spot? What speakers and speaker size have you guys added...thanks.

I know I know...I just want to make sure thats what I need. Its wierd how one place charges you double of the other. Is there any place that I can buy it from locally...say best buy, good guys or some stereo shop.

There is such a thing as a toyota t-100. Its like a an oversized tacoma...you probably haven't noticed it cuz it looks like shit. They made is from 93-98 i think. Im going in about 20 min to get all my stereo stuff. Im just gonna stick with the 4 inch in the rear...that way i wont have to take the door panel off. Peace.

The 4 inch look like trouble to fit...so i think its back to 5.25. I called around, I could only find the speaker adapter for the toyota tacoma. Would that work? the model number is metra 82-8140 while the model number for the t-100 is metra 82-8139. THey basically look the same...so do you think the one for the tacoma would work?
