Welcome to an MB. Typically, the pedal on a MB is hard to press. If it is "too" hard, then is could be a throttle cable that is in need of greasing or replacement but more than likely you are experiencing the MB normal performance. When I got mine I was amazed as well but after two months you don't notice anything. However, when I get in my wife's Toyota it's like stepping on a marshmellow. Ugh!

Like in my W124 I had to adjust my throttle cable and I did it by adjusting the throttle cable sleve that you twist to make the cable softer or harder. In 202 I dunno if it has this.

I dont think the dealership here wan't to do it .. since i report to them ... the only answer is that "that is the characteristic of the car"

i think last time they done it to my car I'm not sure ... but its give the gap when you step on it and after that its the same .... is it what you mean??? or it is another way to make it lighter???
