I know that this has been talked about a great deal but my car is going in on Friday to have #3 pads swapped for #1 pads in the front. I have the H&R cup kit and want to get the front lower. My question for the people who have done this; is it worth the price I am going to be paying for the labor for a shop a to do this and getting a new alignment? Is the amount of difference in the drop from a #3 to #1 going to be worth the money that I am spending or should I just leave the #3's in? Will I even be able to see the difference? Thanks in advance for your input!

The difference btw #3 and #1 is about 10mm. Not much of a difference at all. I think you need to step up to 18's so that the wheel looks closer to the fender. Remember that the 17's you have right now have more rubber on them. Looks like the rim is far away. It also depends on how much you are spending....

Car Nutz said about $100 for the labor and then of course an $80 alignment. Will I even be able to see the difference?

10mm is about the size of an average fingernail.

I had my H&R's installed with #1's and I need bigger wheels so my car would tuck.

I would question the need for an alignement.
If your car is aligned right now, another 3/8" drop should not affect the settings enough to need aligning. ;)
