Hey clubbers,

The day is nearing. My car is getting H&R sports, Koni (ext. adj.)
shocks and SSR GT3 (satin) wheels 18X8 & 18X9. I read in this
site that someone did the H&R sports with no change of the
pads. Is it best to do the drop and evaluate after but before the
alignment? How long will it take for settling?

Well it takes at least 2 weeks before it starts to settle in good. Mine took a good month to fully settle. But I did an H&R sport spring and changed to #1 Pads at the same time. It depends on you, If you want your car slammed get the pads installed the same time. If you want to really control the drop then wait at least a month to settle in good. The pads are only 5mm difference for each number so the choice is all yours. (Note: I changed to #1 pads all around and my drop leveled out good.)

Do you have a pic of your car with the SSR wheels on it?

It's all done and looks awsome. No wheel gap at all.
I will post pics as soon as I get 'em. I'll be taking pics
today actually. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.
The Koni shocks are set all the way soft and I can't tell
the difference from the old set-up. (meaning no stiffness)

Pics to come-- Scott.
