microphone question

hi everyoen
I have a nokia car kit but i lost microphone that came with it. i noticed that my c36 has a factory microphone already installed next to dome light. i was wondering where does it end up connecting to, center dash where electronic display is or maybe where the handset is. basically i can get a connector from radio shack which will fit into nokia car kit and reuse factory microphone by splicing into the wiring.

i dont think its the circle thing. i think its the lil black think thats like velcroed to the celing next to the dome light up front... im not sur ewhat the circle thing is..and i am alos interested in finding where the phone sys. wires go and also if anyone has a schematic for what colors are what on the phone sys i.e. mic, and wire that leads to speakers for voice. thanks!

Does anyone have a photo of what a pre-wired microphone looks like that they can post? I have the coax cable and RJ-45 jack in my center console - does this mean I'm prewired with the phone kit?

i think the circle thing you was talking about is actually a mic for the phone option your car has...if you look in the center consol pocket lift the door to the bottom area and there is going to be a panel that pops off to the rear there sould be some wiring in there check to see it the mic plug matchs your hands free
