I went from the 16" sport wheels with 215/55-16's all the way around, to 17" monoblocks with 225/45-17's in front and 245/40-17's in the back, and these tires wore out really fast with abnormal wear on the inside of all four tires. Is it because I went so much wider? All four tires were wore smooth on the inside after about 27,000 miles. Should I get a 4 wheel alignment? The car tracks and rolls perfect. Thats why I didnt do it to begin with.

Check your camber! At least w/ negative cambers on all 4, you are getting great grip! :)

I have the same problem. I went from 16 to 18 and last week I hand to change the back tires because of "abnormal ware" in the inside . I did a alignment, let see what happends.

Its usually alignment issues...so get an alignment first before you spend money on a camber kit...if your gonna get an alignment, i believe its tire discount or discount tires or something that gives lifetime alignment for like 170...meaning you can go in anytime you want...so check it out

Man if your car is lowered too, then thats excellent milage 27,000. I've only had my tire for about 10,000 and the inner in gone so i just flipped it. but camber is good for handling. Next time when you get new tire you should get an alignment right after it. i heard you should get one every year too.
