Hey guys, ive been thinking about this for a while now, but never bothered to try it, i was curious can 190e foglights (YELLOW ONES) fit the w202 foglights...i want to go for the old school foglight look.

The yellow fog lights from the 201 are a shield, the bulb clear.

The foglight on the W201 (190E) is a glass shield. Depending on whether you have an early for late W202(C-class) you may be able to intalls the sheild over the bulb. If you have a late model W202 they have the foglight under the low beam and the highbeam is inboard next to the grill so I don't think it would work on a late model or (face lifted W202)

well my car is a 95 which is a second year of 202 production..so its not late, does my car come with that shield too, or is that something i would have to make..

Yes the yellow globe with the chrome tip is the sheild whe are talking about. It you be easier to purchase some Hella yellow bulbs and install them versus you having to modify the light housing.

i was searching for soma hella yellow bulbs but could not find them anywhere, if anybody finds them on some site please let me know..

I know this site if a VW and Audi site but I am sure you will find some here www.rapidparts.com good luck you can get the number from the site and call and ask for the size bulb you need.

newdimensions carry yellow stars as well i think when luwin ordered it though they goofed his order and sent the normal ones.

make sure you call them instead of ordering from the site.

but youre in the south right so maybe rapid may be better while not in the south its on the east.

well i guess the guy did not know his own supply...you would not happen to know the dimensions of our foglights...ive seen the part that goes into the hosing, and it looks flat, not round like the taillights that have nipples and such...like this

One more question, they claim that their foglights are yellow, is that yellow the same as the yellow of ryhi's car, cause that is the exact color i want to get from the bulbs?

I got that but on the website it only mentions the bulbs being yellow on top, then there is anotehr section for my bulb but it does not mention that its yellow, is it safe to assume that it is? I gotta call them guys up again!

the bulb looks like it might be the "ion" kind of yellow though with that blue tint...but it does seem like its a darker yellow (compared to eurodesigns and mtec). i have used all 3 brands and i like the nokya color best...theres no blue tint added to it and it uses stock wattage (55w)

i am currently running yellow nokya bulbs for my headlights...they arent that "ion" BS that is all over ebay... u might want to look into these if u want that pure yellow light...nokya h3 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7918093126&category=33709)

called up newdimensions again and they said their h3s are lcear not yellor,

my yellows are actually my lowbeam! i have blue piaa bulbs in for foglights... i dont think that if i took a pic of it, it would let u actually see the color...but in person, they are pretty damn yellow...theyre not like CRAZY yellow, but pretty close to it
