Stereo System prob

I unplugged my fuse from the fuse block and when i went to put it back in it sparked and the fuse blew was i supposed to use a special process to plug it in please help i need to put a new one in A.S.A.P

you might a have short some where thts probably why it blew the first time. Also when putting it back in dont let it touch any thing else.
