I changed my suspension twice without a spring compressor

altough in front I had to unbolt amost everything because the stock spring did not want to get out, the shorter eibach spring went in fine

and in the rear you need two jacks.

yes it's the alarm for when your car gets towed

there is a button to desactivate it in the dash for such equipped cars

Nice detailed pics, but that's way too much work to change the W202/W208/W210 springs. Get the proper springs compressor & you don't even need to remove a wheel...

Agree but do you want to spend $800 for a Mercedes spring compressor just for one time use? I would rather just pay $300 and have a shop do it then spend $800 !! No aftermarket compressor would work on Mercedes spring. Even people with copy Mercedes compressor and still have a hard time doing it because the plate is not perfectly fit right. Just imagine if it pop out on you.

that's the wrong way of doing it because you can easily damages all the fluid filled joint if you don't have the right tools.
