Does anyone know the size of the fuel injectors of a C43?

Thanks. I've been to the site before and am thinking about stepping up injectors, but wanted to know what my stockies were pushing.

edit: did some math and my calculations say I am running 23.6, so basically 24.

Now all I have to do is bump up airflow and beef up my injectors. :D

OT: What was necessary for you to have the engine transplant done? What ECU are you using?

I used an engine out of a 95 E320. the ecu is original from my 95 c280 because E320 ecu has only 1 O2 sensor input, so I had to keep my original ecu. But I am getting a powerchip soon, so my ecu will be recalibrated for 3.2L displacement as well as for all the other mods.

as for the injectors, do not go too big because your O2 sensors wont be able to regulate the mixture, so if your stock injectors are around 23.6 #, and you are just gonna put on an intake and exhaust and some smaller mods, I would recommend injectors not larger than 26#
and also i highly recommend accel injectors because they are the the same length as the mercedes ones. the only thing you might have to do is change the lower o-rings on the new injectors because they might be slightly smaller than the mercedes ones. if you got any other questions, please post them and i will be happy to help you out

Have you looked into replacement O2 sensors?

yes, i have, but they work within the OEM specs, which is virtually useless in this case. but like i said, if you put up to 15% bigger injectors than stock, the O2 sensors should not have any problems regulating the mixture, so if you say that your stocks run around 23.6#, than 24# or even 26# injectors should be fine( I would go with 24# just to be on a safe side, because on your C43 24 pounders should be good for up to 350+ HP)

Thanks for the info. Im just compiling things to consider when upgrading the performance in the engine.
