Subwoofer Popping?

whenever i first turn on my radio, my sub starts popping and crackling for a couple min. same modulation regardless of volume input. i even tried disconnecting the input wires and adjusting the gain on the amp but the popping stays. do i have a loose connection or something?

sounds like your amp. do you have an aftermarket hu?

nope OEM headunit. remote on and high level inputs tapped off from wires connected to the BOSE amp.
