biggest mistake ever

i got my rims in toronto finally. i was excited i started cleaning them FORGOT TO RINSE ( 10 min after) this cleaner is crappy canadian tire cleaner. now i have streaks on my rims. how do i take them off any way. they r chrome

i fixed my problem i got a cloth and put lots of pressure on the streak and its off and the next time i wash them im sure they will be glittery and sexy as hell:) lol

go back to canadian tire and buy some Mothers crome polish and that should restore the shine, after you bring back the shine, take a good wax, and wax ur rims this way they stay alote cleaner and the brake dust dosent stick as much, just use a soft terry cloth with the wax, so that u dont scratch the finish on the crome

im not sure if chrome alloys have a clear coat paint on them but most alloys do,if so the cut and polish compounds for your cars paint will remove most stains and road crap from your mags.
if they dont have a clear coat you may want to try a cut and polish for metal.

Mothers Billet polish works wonders on wheels and chrome trim pieces.

regular washing will keep them clean.

mother's paste in the little white can is the best. i just use them on my stock wheels cuz thats all i have. but in the winter i dont do anything then in the spring all the gunk comes right off.

btw im heading up to TO right after work today. look for my stock ass 98c230 on danforth.
