what is the best way to lower my car about an inch all round, buy some H&R or Eibach or cut the stock springs?

Thanks!

Since we all know you dont like a bumpy harsh ride i would go with Eibachs for you. Then perhaps some bilstien sports shocks ta match.

I won't recommend cutting of springs. I would recommend cup kit and I'm sure you will love it. ;)

i think H&R is the best spring together with stock suspension. it makes your ride bery convertable.

Coil over is also a good idea, are they made for my application. What I like about the suspension in the car is it simplicity. springs, shocks, etc.

I would go with Eibach springs with stock shocks.

hi there

I have 17inch on my car....and also thinking of lowering my car about 1inch.....

if I go for eibach spring with the stock shock...

will my tire be rubbing the fender????

or do I have to get another set of shock???

I always liked Brabus springs people will AMG cars have changed them out for Brabus so by the logic I am going to say they are better, because no one would change to a worst spring, I've heard volt springs are good, but unno

If you want just 1 inche, go with a lower spring pad and the euro spec AMG springs from a C36.

I had Brabus springs on my C43 & change them out for Vogtland. I'm glad I did...

let me clarify....

I have to disagree with your statement....

BRABUS spring made by Eibach compare to Eibach spring are

NOT BETTER..

Brabus have Eibach make the spring accroding to Brabus Spec..(spring rate, color, etc...)...

That's the different between Brabus and Eibach...spring..

For stiffness and lowest drop H&R would be the best. They make the stiffest springs.

Eibach springs are more comfort than H&R and dont drop the car as much.

I would rather have H&R than Eibach/Brabus/volgtland

I have had Eibachs on my car and i hated it.

I have also ran cut C36 springs on my C36...thats a whole diffrent story.

so H&R are the most stiff? even more than volt?

The only way to really know which springs are stiffer would be to find out the spring rates for each one. I'm betting it's Vogtland ;)

I disagree with that! I've Vogtland on my E320 and it don't ride like H&R for sure.

As you can see, it depends on who you ask. The only way to really know which one is best to you would be to try them all.

Your in SoCal, come drive my car & I bet you pick the Vogtland's with Koni shocks ;)
