I dont want a mercedes cd changer but I would really like to have a in dash mercedes cd player. Is it possible to just buy one and plug it right in?? Thanks for the help.:D

look up the harmon kardon traffic pro...

its what i have

in dash CD

PLUS navigation !

I just plugged it in not even an adapter needed

How much cash is the one with nav compared to the MB CD?

fo sure.. you can get a stock mercedes head unit from a Euro SLK I think.. its single indash cd/radio.. would be a plug and play application.

that im not sure of.. I know the newer cd changer do play burnt cd's.. but not sure about the singlw in dash unit.. depending on what year SLK it came from.. maybe.

Well I just got offered one for a very low price, so I was just wondering if I should grab it. Its off a newer model SLK so I guess it should play burnt CDs. Thanks for the help man.:happy:

they discontinued the cheaper traffic pro you can find it on ebay anywhere from 200-400 bucks. here is a link to one on auction but its red.. i have the amber one.. check out the link you can see the back of the unit its the same plug
