mounted on my car, you will notice the hood is not completely closed. I tried verious hooks and they do work, but the pul handle will have to go; and I couldn't figure out how to take it off. To me it looks as it might be a permanent part of the whole assemble to unlatch the hood hook? Follow this thread to the picture

Looks pretty tight man... but I dont like the star in the middle of the grille.
Im gonn have to do one for my car.

myself, I gone to take it off, it just unscrews from the back, also in looking at the hood unlatch, the star will get into the way of the lever. It is a easy job, I had plenty of material left over and was going to do the brake duct grilles on the bottom of the bumper, but I decided to paint them with bright alumimun paint instead.
