I just wanted to archive this info. I did a search and didn't come up with a specific thread. The mercedes dealer would not tell me how, they wanted me to bring the car in (bastards, I bought it there too). Press and hold the window up in the first position for 10 seconds. They should work right after that. You will need to do each window seperately....

also, to reset the auto lock when you roll

just roll and press the lock button and hold it for like 5 seconds

next time you leave the doors will lock automatically

hang on so are u saying if i
1.hold the up button for 10secs when windows are closed then i can just click up once for auto shut to close when driving on one touch, and
2. just hold the auto lock button for 5 secs when driving so that when i close my doors start up and drive away all doors will lock automatically?

im not too worried abt the windows but i really wanna know abt the door thing, just re-confirm me on this will yah people, thanks

I would assume this only works if you have the one touch window switches, i.e. the ones that depress slightly for regular use, then depress more for the one touch feature...?
In my car the switches only have this when rolling down the front windows, would holding them in the up position give me one touch when rolling them up?
If not, is it possible to install one touch (for rolling up and down) switches for front and rear?

did you try it yet? I'm not sure, sounds weird that the front switches would be 2 stage and the rear 1. I would say try and see what happens, not sure though....

I'm in the same boat as H3MAN. Holding didn't do anything for the windows or the door locks.

Could the one-touch switches be installed on an older w202? Would it be a simple swap, or could it get pretty complicated?
