This tuner has been brought up once before.. but I never heard anything about them.. When I tried to search them, it seems they tend to tune BMW's more than anything else, I havent seen the kit installed on any Benz's either.
I have never seen or heard of a mercedes with this kit on so I dont know about their quality or performance.

In my email to HIOP I asked for all details on the supercharger product including pricing, availability, etc. I'll post their reply.

I believe there is a member who is from Germany (spookie, i think, is his forum name) that has one of these kits for sale. If you search you may find the post he put up about it. He claimed it was a better supercharger than the Eatons and that it gave higher gains. Maybe he'll see this thread?

BTW, I just found some pricing for a Hiop Supercharger designed for a 4 cyl BMW. It was over $6000 US. Ouch!

I haven't heard anything back from Hiop directly concerning my request for Mercedes product information.

I se they developing one for the S280. I wonder if it's the same C280 motor?

225hp and 310 torque! now thats is a good gain for a c220 having only 150hp!!!!

That looks like an expensive kit.

Merc_lover, the site gives out gain in PS not HP... and those results are most likely at crank not rwhp.

A stock C220 usually dyno'ed at 100 hp or 150 at crank if I am not mistaken.

We plan to have a new batch ready for the first months of 2005. Perhaps
in the meantime, could you let us know roughly how many kits you and
your club members would be looking at ordering; on this basis we are
able to offer you a better price when more than one kit is quoted.

It would be a good idea to get a price range from them first. I doubt you'll get many people signing up to purchase without knowing the ballpark price.
