Ok, maybe I'm just not doing this right...

How do you remove the inside of the "glovebox"...you know, that tiny slit-poor excuse for a glovebox under the passenger side airbag? I'm trying to pull it out so I can install the dvd player in there...

I don't know exactly either. hahah, but Remove "INSIDE" of glovebox?? I am not sure which inside you mean, but if you are talking about removing the whole glovebox then I should be able to find out some info as mine was just pulled out couple weeks ago and it only took my shop few minutes. Hmm but then that's on a W210 and I'm not sure if it's the same as W202.

Yup..that's what i need to know..basically how to remove the cover itself and the interior felt thingy. The haynes manual isn't too clear on how to do it... :(

Dang, I should have paid more attention last time when the guy was doing it, but I was too busy smoking and chatting with a girl customer there. What's worse is after 20 Min talking I found out she got a BF :( WAIT, what the.. I'm going off topic. haha

Anyway, I'll get together with the shop again this weekend so I can find out for you. Unless somone can shed some info about this earlier.

And again, this is for W210 so take it FWIW. :)

Haha..it's all good...don't go out of your way...unless you're going to go back to talk to that girl again. ;) I find a way to remove it...

remove the catching latch, 2 screws and then you can unscrew the screws from the felt like material and pull it out.
