Does anyone here know how to remove the small piece of Doorguard trim from the outside of a w202.

Im having trouble with the tiny piece from between the rear wheel arch & the rear door?

Does it simply pull off like the front piece? I dont want to damage it.

Cheers

try the SEARCH botton. this subject has been answered

but yes, just pulling it will come off. not too hard cause you may break the plastic clip

good luck

try sliding it towards the rear like the door trim.

It pulls rigt off. But make sure you unhook the trim trip from the inside of the fender too.

Now I need toknow if you can order up color matched replacements?

i don´t think so. i beleive you have to paint the replacement with the color of your car.
i might be wrong though, but that´s how i did when i had to replace that tiny part.

i looked for the part number, but it came in grey. so i had to paint it.

Managed to remove it, you simply prise it off pulling towards the rear of the car as you do it.

Im repainting it, to remove the crome
