Would my 255/40's and 215/45's make my ABS light come on?

My ABS light is now coming on when braking. It goes right back off. The only thing I did recently was tires. Could the larger sizes cause this?

Yes your tires can cause this if there is a big difference in rolling diameter:)....
Did you obtain rolling diameters before you purchased the wheels??

The wheels are staggered monoblock II's.

I checked diameters when I purchased the tires, and they are within 10mm of stock 17" height. The ABS only comes on when braking hard. I dont feel anything different though. Should I worry about it. Is there a way to fix it without the stealership getting involved?
