Carlsson front body kit (bumper cover?)

It looks somewhat like the brabus front in my opinion. I cant really tell though because the black hides the fine lines. Not bad at all though. Looks pretty good. You really want to get a kit for you car huh C Lee. I want a kit as well but I cant afford right now because college is killing me financially. I need to get a job or something.

well i'm buying the rear lip today for $100 bucks brand new (retails for $700 or some crazee number).

i figure it will go with the brabus front or something. But thanks for the input!

I am.

but i can't pass up 100 dollars for a carlsson lip. I can alwasy ebay and make a profit.

But unless i can find wald for less than $1400 probably no wald.

i can't justify paying that much for a body kit on a 6 year old car.

if you consider paint and install, plus exhaust and foglights, you are looking at well over $2K if you buy the kit for $1400 or higher.

I want a kit. I am serious about buying, but I am also not going to jump without researching more and trying to get the best values.

and i've kinda given up on group buys. it doesn't seem to work - at least not for the brabus bumpers anyways. lot of interest, not enough commitments.

I am also open to replica as long as its not a replica bumper. replica bumper cover or lip is okay.

maybe the auto couture front lip....hmmm donno.

well the wald kit sells in japan for US$800 but we have to pay $1600. I am sure the lorinser is the same way - we probably pay double what they really go for in europe.

but i don't know why they are so expensive either, i heard its made out of fiber glass too.

OMG EVO SPORT SUCKS BALLS

so i drove down 1.5 hrs to their shop in friday traffic. I called 3 times to make sure that they had the bumper they said they did.

i get there - ITS NOT CARLSSON! it's some shady azz i don't know what bumper! Looked stock to me! and it had craxs!!

bunch of monkey butts.

never going to do business with them again! never!

The silver W202 has the exact same kit as in their website. Carlsson only made 1 kit for W202.......

the rear bumper is different. your pic shows a full bumper cover. on the site, the have a lip as well as a bumper cover.

after looking at the site, i don't see a rear lip..i only see a full back bumper.....they do say "rear skirt lip and rear spoiler" which would be the full bumper...not just a lip ........i think..

With all due respect, I am posting pictures of a real carlsson W202. They are all full bumper (both front and rear). I hope you all can appreciate this.

Making comments like "this kit is very very different from what is online on their site!" without paying alot of attention is not needed.

In any case, they don't make their kit anymore. So good luck in finding one.

I believe you when you tell me that its a real carlsson kit, the second pic that i posted from the carlsson webiste, the rear bumper looks like that of the one you posted. I was simply referring to the 1st pic, where it looked like to me that its a lip as opposed to being a full bumper.

wouldn't be worth it, I dont know why you guys dont get it. If the Kit in Japan is 800 + shiping cost + import tax + plus small profit margin = US price.

so i took the easy way out (and maybe more expensive) and just got the damn wald kit from a US distributor even though my GF's parents live in osaka right down the street from wald! they were willing to buy it for me and ship it via cargo ship cuz the regular postal service has size limits. BUT that was before i found out UPS offers international shipping on oversize packages.

c_lee: wanna do some UPS shipping homework and perhaps, for a small fee i could ask the Gf's parents to act as the middle man . . .

just a thought, cuz i know the WALD kit is worth it.
