i have a 94 c280 and when i put it in reverse it just seems like it is in neautral and wont seem to go into reverse?, can anyone help me with this?

try changing your tranny filter and fluid...

yeah try changing the filter and the fluid( you even might be low on fluid), but also check if the shifter linkage needs adjustment( maybe the grommets on the linkage broke or slipped out of place) also check the clutch cable(the one leading from your throttle cable and going into the tranny), check the vacuum lines,too.
