I guess you could say I have it. They use Vogtland springs in that kit :D

I like this setup very much...

I see in your tag "Koni Ext. Adjustable". Does that imply there's a controller in the cabin, and you can tighten or loosen up the ride on the fly? (hey, you can with one of the Jeep aftermarket suspensions ;) )

I have a C43 too, and @ 65K miles, it's time to change the shocks. Bit of bounce just after entering a long sweeper. Car's "unsettled". Figure I'll finally do a drop too.

So as you have a C43, did you own it before the Vogtland + Konis, thus can compare and contrast them? Would love to hear how this setup compares to the stock AMG setup.

Basically, what I'm looking for is "better" than AMG stock w/o compromise. Less pounding on expansion joints @ low speed; controlled weight transfer in the twisties; even flatter entering on the turns.

Sorry for bombarding you. Suspension's my weak point though. Would love to get your informed opinion.

thanx much.

I wish! It means you don't have to remove the shocks to adjust them like some Koni. Just turn the knob at the top.

I got this car with the stock AMG suspension. Have had H&R, Vogtland and Brabus springs, Bilstein sports and Koni shocks.

I would say go with the Vogtland/Koni combo.

Well I would definitely categorize you as qualified to provide an informed response! Thanx very much for the links. Reading them all now.

Damn, why can a Jeep have electronically adjustable suspension but performance cars not?

But more than the $1600 you have to pay for a set of Kleemann shocks? :bandit:

I wish I knew if you really are getting what you pay for with the Kleemanns speed sensitive suspension.

I don't think so, but I bet those that bought Kleeman will say yes ;)

From the info I was able to dig up, these are the same kit. Box and paint will be different.
