If i get a 5mm spacer how long do my bolts have to be for a c280 (99)?
Also do I need cone seats or ball seats?
Thanks
pull your current ones out and have a look

you should be fine with the ones you have, but take the wheel off, put a spacer on it and put one bolt through the rim and spacer and see if the thread length out of the spacer is at least 3/4"

in order to be safe, you need to have 5 or 6 turns of bolt.

Most aftermarket wheels are Cone seats.
Unlike the M-B originals, which are Ball seat. ;)

I had to get longer bolts to use my spacers/wheels. It's always better safe than sorry.

Stock bolts are 39mm 12x1.5 R12 Ball Seat.
If you're using stock wheels, you'll need a 44mm bolt, or something close to it. There's some wiggle room, so something close would be just fine.

if you use a 5mm spacer, you will need a bolt that is 5mm longer than stock.
and it goes for any size spacer.. take your wheel bolt, take the spacer thickness and add it to the bolt.
