its a shock connected to the center(steering) link that dampens the the irregular wheel movement/steering feel on the drivers side. it also prevents the jerking of the steering wheel while making a turn and during driving as well.

I went with the OEM one. Cost is not that much. I think it was $35 or something plus an 1/2 hr labor w/c is free. :D ;)

try MOOG. they make alot of AM steering parts. also A1 CARDONE may have them.

what's the interval on replacing this

I think mine need replacing..


the steering wheel vibrat a little going over irregularity on road and small bumps.. :)

I just replaced mine. I went with an OEM one. The price isn't bad and the install only took 10min.

From reading this post, I now know mine should be replaced. I haven't taken a look yet to see how tough replacing it myself would be.

Could someone that has done it themselves reply with a quick how to post?
