trunk switch light

alright, i've searched and cant find any thread on this. the little red LED light on my trunk switch in the center console stays on constantly. I know it hasn't always been like this. Any thoughts?

j/k, check the little pin switch in the trunk, near the latch, see if thats working. if you have the factory alarm, hold down the pin switch, arm it, wait 30 sec. then let the pin switch go. if the alarm goes off, then you might have a faulty switch. if it doesn't go off then you need to replace the pin switch on the trunk.

just in case anyone ever searches for this:

it was indeed the pin switch in the trunk. so my trunk light was always on, the led on the center console trunk switch was always red, and the oddest thing was that my lights wouldnt blink when i locked my car. they only blinked when unlocking the car until the pin switch was figured out.
