question for a c230 owner

I have noo idea what this means but a fellow c230 owner has a problem ..I only have this much info and would like to help him out if possible

he needs to scan it. get a generic OBDII scanner(you can rent one from most parts stores) and run the complete scan. then you will see what it turning the CEL on.

dude, thanx but this guy is from the states..and i guess I should change my name or something, I moved to Barrie a few months ago.
once again, thanx for the offer. I might need that one day. I am still in Guelph alot.
