Many of us wonder which additives should be used for superior component protection, racing, best gas mileage,most power and such. Wonder no more. I have spent last 3 years trying just about every product there is on the market, testing for these qualities. So, instead of guessing which additives you should use for such benefits, just read this post. I will list the top three products for each component(except for power steering) according to my conclusions.

ENGINE:
1. Pro-Blend Drag Racing Engine Treatment
2. Lubegard Biotech/Engine Protectant
3. Pro-Blend Racing Formula

TRANSMISSION (AUTO)
1. Pro-Blend Drag Racing Transmission Treatment
2. Lubegard ATF Protectant
3. Pro-Blend Transmission Treatment

TRANSMISSION (MANUAL)
1. Pro-Blend Drag Racing Rear-End/Manual Transmission Treatment
2. Lubegard Gear Fluid Supplement
3. Redline MT Gear Oil Alone

DIFFERENTIAL
Same as above(except for Redline MT, use Redline 75W-90)

FUEL SYSTEM LUBRICANTS
1. Marvel Mystery Oil
2. Lucas Fuel Treatment
3. Bardahl Top Oil

FUEL SYSTEM CLEANERS
1. Amsoil P.I.
2. Chevron Fuel System Cleaner
3. Prestone Fuel System Cleaner

OCTANE BOOSTERS(Not recommened for constant use, but if you experience knock, try any of the following)
1. Dynotab (safe to use with every tank)
2. Prestone 0-60 Booster
3. Outlaw Octane Shot

COOLING SYSTEM
1. Pro-Blend 40 Below Cooling Additive
2. Redline Water Wetter
3. Royal Purple Purple Ice

POWER STEERING
1. Lubegard Power Steering Fluid Protectant

thanks for the info.....

must have cost you lots of $$$ for 2-5-hp...could have saved that and bought NOS 50-125hp.

btw...what car did you test the manual oils on??????

i had 1997 a 328is that was manual.
