the SRS system (airbag) runs a test everytime you turn on your car. if the SRS light stays on all the time.....then you have a problem.
read your owner's manual.....explains how the system works.

Your SRS code has tripped one time. Have it reset and see if it comes back. If it does it's your belt buckle. Once the code is reset don't fasen the seat belt until the SRS light goes out when you start the car.

If your SRS light comes on for approx 60sec and then shuts off you have a front belt buckle fault, either driver or passenger. If the light comes on and stays on there is another fault, ie..airbag squib or ecu fault. Most generic scanners won't access the SRS system, but if you find one that can, code 025 is for the driver's buckle and 026 is for passenger's buckle.

how can i reset the code?
unplugging the battery for 2 min should do it?
I had a faulty sensor, causing the SRS light to stay on all the time.
A good clean of the drivers seatbelt clip fixed the problem, the clip mount has a sensor to alert the driver about no seatbelt/airbag.
